Who should be included in the registry?
We want to include everyone in the state of Arkansas who has been diagnosed with an ASD (Autism- Spectrum Disorder) in the registry. This form is NOT intended to diagnose anyone with ASD. The person who is being registered must have been diagnosed by a professional clinician.
How will the registry help me or my child?
There is much research to be done to help those with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The information collected through the registry will be used by researchers to identify families interested in participating in future research. By registering yourself or your child, you will be providing future hope for others.
Is my information confidential?
Yes, the information collected for the registry will not be used for any papers or reports. It is simply a way for researchers to identify people to contact for future research to help others. You are entering the information on a secure website so no one else can access it. I want to speak to someone about the registry.
